TSMC files trade secret lawsuit against ex-VP joining Intel
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) filed a lawsuit Tuesday against former senior vice president Lo Wei-jen, alleging he will likely leak trade secrets to Intel Corp. after joining the rival chipmaker immediately upon retirement. TSMC cited alleged violations of Lo’s employment contract, non-compete agreement and Taiwan’s trade secret law in the complaint filed in Taiwan’s Intellectual Property and Commercial Court.
